Gujarat Weather Update: Gujarat is expected to witness spells of light to moderate rainfall over the next few days, particularly in regions like Junagadh, Bhavnagar, Ahmedabad, Amreli, and Rajkot, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The showers will be accompanied by thundershowers in some parts, offering relief from the prevailing heat.
As per the IMD's latest bulletin, scattered rainfall is likely today in districts such as Dahod, Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, Tapi, Dang, Navsari, Valsad, Botad, Bhavnagar, Rajkot, Amreli, Junagadh, Gir Somnath, Porbandar, along with Union Territories like Daman, Diu, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli. The Kutch region, however, is expected to remain dry.

On June 8, isolated rainfall and thundershowers are forecasted in North Gujarat's Dahod district; South Gujarat's Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, Dang, Navsari, Valsad, and Tapi districts; as well as in parts of Saurashtra like Rajkot, Porbandar, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath, and Botad, besides Daman, Diu, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli.

Similar weather is expected on June 9, with isolated showers continuing in Dahod, most districts of South Gujarat, and Saurashtra’s Rajkot, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, and Gir Somnath.
By June 10, the rainfall activity is expected to ease slightly, with light to moderate rain predicted mainly in Dang, Navsari, Valsad, Daman, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, and in Amreli and Bhavnagar districts. Dry conditions are likely to prevail in the remaining areas.

Temperature-wise, the day remained dry in Kutch, while isolated parts of Saurashtra and Gujarat received some showers. The highest temperature was recorded at 41 Degrees C in Rajkot and Surendranagar, with parts of North Gujarat witnessing a noticeable rise in temperatures.
