Gandhinagar Suicide:  A triple suicide case was reported in Gujarat's Gandhinagar. A married woman, along with her mother and daughter, jumped into the Narmada Canal near Piyaz village in Kalol taluka of Gandhinagar district, following a family dispute.

According to media reports, the bodies of two women and a child, with their hands and feet tied, were found on Thursday morning in the Narmada Canal near Piyaz village in Kalol. Upon receiving the information, a local police team immediately arrived at the scene. Police sent the three bodies for postmortem and have launched an investigation to identify them.

Sister-In-Law And Mother-In-Law Named In Suicide Note On Social Media

Initial police investigations have identified the deceased woman as Sangeeta Prajapati, originally from Taleti village in Mehsana and currently living in Ahmedabad. It has been revealed that she jumped into the canal with her daughter Neha Prajapati and granddaughter, Pehal. Before taking the extreme step, Neha expressed her grief through a social media post. In the social media post, she stated that she was forced to take the extreme step due to the harassment by her sister-in-law and mother-in-law.

Neha further mentioned that her sister-in-law used to provoke her mother to harass her (Neha). My mother used to scold me, she added. Her husband Deepak, uncle Ajay, or Gordhan Bhai are not at fault for her suicide, Neha said in the note.

She also apologised to her husband, saying sorry to him. "So sorry Deepak, I'm leaving now. Deepak or anyone living in Tareti is not at fault. I'm taking my mother with me," she mentioned.

Currently, Kalol police registered a case based on the social media post and are taking further legal action.
