Khalistani separatist and general counsel of banned outfit Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, has once again threatened the sovereignty of India. In a video, Pannu, a designated terrorist by India, has claimed that he will initiate freedom movements in several states of India, including Assam, Manipur and others.

According to a report by the Times of India, Pannun's threats came as a response to Canadian Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs David Morrison, who claimed that Canada respects India's territorial integrity and is very clear on its stand. "There’s one India, and that's been made very clear," Morrison had said.

In his video "Mission of SFJ 2024: ONE India, To 2047: NONE India," Pannun made a wild appeal to Xi Jinping, the President of China, claiming that this is the right time to order the Chinese army to take Arunachal Pradesh back. He also falsely claimed that Arunachal Pradesh belonged to China. He further threatened to fuel independence movements in several states, such as Jammu and Kashmir, Assam, Manipur, and Nagaland.

Pannun, in his video, also claimed that SFJ will continue to use the protection laws of Canada and America to continue his agenda to "Balkanise and disintegrate the Union of India." He further claimed that the boundaries of India will be redrawn and wiped out from the world map by 2047.

Earlier, in August, the Indian government sent a formal notice to the SFJ informing that the ban on the organisation is going to increase for another 5 years. The government has also asked the organisation to respond within 30 days.

"Why the SFJ should not be declared unlawful and why an order should not be made confirming the declaration made in the above-mentioned notification," the notice read. Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, in his response, said that the Indian government is trying to interfere in the internal affairs of Canada.
