A Delhi Police constable was robbed of his car by two masked men at gunpoint, while he was en route to his G20 Summit duty, police said on Monday. The incident took place on SPR Road in Gurugram on late Saturday night.

The constable, Rajkumar (32), was returning from Mahendragarh to Delhi for his night duty for the summit, police said, quoting the complaint.

"Soon after, they asked me to get down from the car and also threatened to shoot if I did not. When I came out of the vehicle, they pushed me and ran away after robbing my car," Rajkumar said in his complaint.

Rajkumar reached SPR road at around 11 PM when a white car halted infront of him. Two masked men with weapons in hand got down from the car. One of them puta pistol on the windshield of the constable's car while the other was on the victim, police said.

"My Delhi police uniform, wallet containing Rs 5,000, ID card and driving licence were also kept in the car. Due to darkness, the registration number on the Swift car was not visible," Rajkumar further said.

In the CCTV footage that was set up near Kherki Daula Toll Plaza, only the white Swift car was visible, which did not provide any crucial information, according to police.

On Sunday, an FIR was filed against two unidentified individuals under provisions of the IPC and the Arms Act at the Kherki Daula police station, according to authorities.
