Jagran Correspondent | Rohtak: The Gurugram police have killed three youths of Haryana's Bhaloth village in an encounter. The deceased have been identified as Aryan (17), Ankit (18) and Nitin (22). While Nitin was a bike mechanic facing two prior cases of attempted murder, Aryan was an aspiring javelin thrower, and Ankit was a daily wage labourer. Both teenagers had no criminal records. The different backgrounds of the three have left devastated family members asking how they ended up together in a deadly shootout.

Nitin, the Mechanic
Nitin worked as a bike mechanic in the village. While questioning about Nitin, the police found out that Nitin had not returned home for two days, and a search was being carried out to find him.
Aryan, the Javelin Thrower
Aryan (17) was a Class 12 student and had been practising javelin throwing for the past two years. The minor could throw the javelin from 55 to 60 metres. The cops said that Aryan met Nitin a few days ago when his motorbike broke down.
The family said that the two had known each other just for five or six days. Aryan didn't even own a mobile phone. When he didn't return home, his family members repeatedly tried to contact Nitin on his mobile phone, but it was switched off. Aryan's father, Pradeep Phogat, says that if his son was misled, the police should reach out to those running such gangs.
What Did Ankit's Family Say
Ankit's father, Anil, claimed that his son worked as a daily wage labourer and had not received much education. Nearly two days ago, he had promised to bring a Kanwar from Haridwar. The family was unaware that he had reached Gurugram.
Investigations Underway
Police said Nitin brought both minors from Rohtak to Gurugram in a Scorpio vehicle along with Sandeep alias Deepa. They later met Shivam, a resident of Kota Basai, where they were allegedly drawn into a criminal plan.
The conspiracy was allegedly orchestrated by gangster Deepak Nandal, who is allegedly operating from abroad, India Today reported. Police said Nandal had been demanding an extortion payment of Rs 10 crore from prominent Gurugram businessman Vishal Berry for the past three months and had allegedly made 15 to 20 threatening phone calls to him.
