Gurugram Traffic Diversion: Traffic has been blocked between Siddheshwar Chowk and Kabir Bhawan Chowk on Old Railway Road for one month (30 days) for the construction of storm drain by GMDA near Shiv Murti, jagran.com reported.

On Wednesday morning, people on way to Old Railway Road from Rajiv Chowk, used a different route on spotting the jersey barricading. Shopkeepers and residents between Siddheshwar Chowk and Kabir Bhawan Chowk faced a lot of trouble during this time.

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini was in Gurugram on Wednesday morning. In view of this, policemen were also deployed by the traffic police to avoid traffic jams at Siddheshwar Chowk.

Gurugram Traffic Advisory: Diversion In Place For One Month

-In the advisory issued by the traffic police, it was said that from April 23, sewer block work is to be carried out before the Shiv statue while going from Sadar Bazar Chowk towards New Colony. This route is being closed for security reasons.

-Apart from this, the road going towards Rajiv Chowk from New Colony turn will remain open for vehicles.

-Drivers who want to go from Rajiv Chowk towards New Colony Mor, Sector 4/7 and Railway Station will use the route via Jail Chowk, Bhuteshwar Temple, Pataudi Chowk and then ahead of New Colony Mor towards Sector 4/7 and Railway Station. This route diversion will continue for about 30 days.
