Panchkula Bus Accident: At least 40 people were hurt, including numerous schoolchildren, after a bus carrying them collapsed in Haryana's Panchkula district on Monday morning. The incident occurred near Naulata village in Pinjore town. The actual number of children injured in the tragedy has not yet been determined.

The wounded individuals have been admitted to Panchkula's Sector 6 Civil Hospital and Pinjore Hospital to receive medical treatment. A hospital is shown providing treatment to many wounded schoolchildren in a video that has gone viral on social media.

According to authorities, the collision was caused by the bus driver exceeding the speed limit. Furthermore, because the bus was overcrowded with passengers, overloading and bad road conditions were cited as additional causes of the tragedy, according to news agency ANI.

Meanwhile, Congress MLA Pradeep Choudhary of Panchkula's Kalka assembly seat confirmed that a probe had begun.

Last week, a vehicle on the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) highway near Farrukhnagar rear-ended a truck, resulting in four fatalities and injuring two individuals. A family of six was traveling from Haridwar to Hasampur village in the Sikar region of Rajasthan via Gurugram at approximately 2:00 PM on July 2 when the tragedy occurred. The family was returning after immersing the ashes of their father in the Ganga.

The police said that the truck and vehicle were traveling between 90-100kmph. The vehicle either slowed down or one of the drivers abruptly changed lanes, according to the police.

Both vehicles were taken off the expressway, but the truck driver ran away from the scene.
