In a shocking incident, three youths brutally chopped off the hands of a young man in Safidon, Jind district, Haryana, on the night of April 6. The victim, Narendra Kumar, a resident of Shiv Colony, was attacked with a sharp weapon when he refused to hand over his scooty to the assailants.

Police have named three people in the FIR. According to Kumar's statement to the police, the incident occurred around 11:15 pm near Purani Chungi. The attackers, Bharat, Kunal and Sagar, allegedly targeted Kumar when he refused to give up his scooty, leaving him severely injured.

They first attacked Narendra on the head with a sword. According to his statement, when he raised his hand in defense, one of the attackers struck his left hand with a sword, causing him to fall from his scooty. Kunal also known as Bittu, then hit the victim's right hand with an iron pipe. Bharat, another attacker, took the pipe from Kunal and repeatedly struck the victim's right hand, ultimately severing both hands near the wrist.

Treatment In A Private Hospital In Panipat

Victim Narendra was taken to a private hospital in Panipat, where he is currently receiving the medical assistance. Police have launched a probe into the case. According to the city police station in-charge, Dinesh Kumar, Narendra said that his hands were cut because he refused to give his scooty to the offenders.
