Hathras School Black Magic: Kritarth, a class two student of DL Public Residential School, was sacrificed for "black magic" in Uttar Pradesh's Hathras. Reportedly, the father of the manager of the school, Jashodan Bhagatji, along with the manager and staff, carried out this incident. Bhagatji believed in black magic and the sacrifice was made to get the school name and fame.

The incident unfolded on Sunday night. Kritarth, a student of class two, was murdered in a room of the residential school. The school manager Dinesh Baghel and the principal Laxman Singh took the child to Agra, telling the family that he was unwell. They kept roaming around for several hours with the child's body.

While returning, the family members and the crowd stopped his car in Saadabad and created a ruckus. They vandalised the car. The manager and the principal were taken into police custody following the incident.

Police have arrested the manager's father Jashodan Singh, manager Dinesh Baghel, principal Laxman Singh, teacher Ramprakash Solanki, Veerpal alias Veeru and sent them to jail.

ASP Ashok Kumar said that for the progress and fame of the school, these people wanted to take the child away and practice black magic. When the child woke up and started making noise, he was strangulated to death.

"On 23rd September, a student was murdered at the hostel of D.L. Public School under Sahpau PS. A case was registered under relevant sections on the basis of the statement of the complainant. Five accused, including the owner of the school, have been arrested. They have been sent to judicial custody. Police will take action by investigating all angles," said the official.

Reacting to the incident, Member of the Uttar Pradesh State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (SCPCR), Anita Agarwal, said that she would recommend to the State Administration to de-recognise this school.

"This is a heinous incident. We will take action in this matter. I will recommend to the State Administration to de-recognise this school," Member of the Uttar Pradesh State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (SCPCR), Anita Agarwal, said.
