Weather In Himachal Pradesh: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast that there may be light rain and snowfall at some places in very high altitude areas of Lahaul-Spiti, Kinnaur, Chamba, Kangra and Kullu in the coming days. However, weather in Himachal Pradesh is likely to remain clear till March 26. Along with this, a large number of tourists are reaching these high altitude areas to enjoy the snow, and the snow cover is likely to remain in these areas for two weeks.

According to the weather body, there will be no significant change in the minimum temperature in the region for the next two days, but after this, there may be an increase of 3-4 degrees Celsius in the minimum temperature in the next 3-4 days. Along with this, the maximum temperature is also expected to increase by 2-4 degrees Celsius, which may increase the effect of heat in the region. After the rise in temperature, Shimla and other hilly areas will start experiencing heat, especially in the plains.

Weather In Himachal Pradesh Till March 26

Due to the activation of a fresh western disturbance on March 24, light rain and snowfall is likely again at different places in Lahaul-Spiti, Kinnaur, Chamba, Kangra and Kullu districts on March 26 and 27. At the same time, the minimum temperature is likely to gradually increase by 3-5 degrees Celsius during the next 4-5 days. The maximum temperature is expected to gradually increase by 2-4 degrees Celsius during the next 4-5 days. The weather is expected to remain clear in all parts from March 22 to 25.

Five Per cent Less Rain Than Normal In March

According to the Meteorological Department, the state has received 5 per cent less rain than normal from 1 to 21 March. For this period 79.9 mm of rain was considered normal, but in reality only 75.6 mm of rain fell. Bilaspur received 17 per cent less rain than normal, Chamba 39 per cent, Hamirpur 21 per cent, Kangra 17 per cent, Kinnaur 7, Lahaul-Spiti 23 per cent, Sirmaur 7 per cent, Solan 21 per cent and Una 52 per cent less rain. On the other hand, Kullu received 68 per cent, Mandi 52 per cent and Shimla 39 per cent more rain than normal.
