Bengaluru News: Amid several ongoing debates on the comparison of cities, a post has gone viral on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) in which a Bengaluru man accused North Indians of allegedly introducing hookup and one-night stand culture to the city. He even accused people from other states of destroying the culture of the capital city of Karnataka. He said that people working in Bengaluru must learn Kannada, adding that they will face serious consequences in case of denial.

In the viral video, the creator can be heard saying that while Bengaluru is open for migrants, the mass migration has caused a "traffic jam" in the city. "This hook-up, one-night stand, situationship culture is brought by the migrant north Indians to Bengaluru and these were never part of our culture. This culture was brought by some cheap North Indian migrants. The reason why North Indians came to Bengaluru is they did not get job in their state. We Kannadigas have been very welcoming and accepted migrants with our whole hearts. But now the mass migration has caused serious traffic jams in Bengaluru," the creator could be heard saying in the video.

He even said that the mass migration is damaging the culture and heritage of the city. "We are Kannadigas are losing out culture because of migrant population. We only respect those North Indians who respect our language. Bengaluru was not built by any cultureless North Indians. It is built by our own Kannadigas. Stop triggering Kannadigas because we will go it any extent to protect our identity," he added.

The post immediately went viral with more than 700 likes and got mixed reactions from the netizens. While some of the social media users agreed with his remarks, others pointed out that the person was trying to create a division on a regional basis.

"I get your point bro. But does the solution lie in bashing up people and resorting to mob violence???" one of the users asked. "I would recommend you to protest outside all corporate offices to not recruit talented North Indians. Please start doing it and then we will see what happens . Till then stop this pity politics," another one suggested.
