A young IPS officer had exposed an illegal prostitution racket in a pub located in Hyderabad's Kukatpally zone in the Cyberabad area. District Commissioner of Police Riti Raj went undercover to uncover the sex racket. Police received strong intelligence about suspicious and illegal activities taking place in the pub.
How Did She Conduct Operation?
The IPS officer from the Telangana cadre raided the area after observing the environment inside the Kings and Queens Pub, located at KPHB. Dressing up in civil clothes, she went to the pub, posing as a software engineer on Saturday. In the pub, she observed the people and recorded visuals on her mobile phone.
After some time, she signalled her team and directed them to initiate action. Following this, the team detained nine persons, including four women, for questioning the accused. Raj carried out the operation after collecting particular inputs about the Masti pub. It was allegedly found that the management was luring customers through women and had failed to implement measures to prevent entry of minors into the premises.
