IAF Jet Crash Agra: A Mig-29 fighter jet of the Indian Air Force (IAF) crashed near Agar's Kagarol village on Monday, leaving the plane engulfed in flame. As per initial information, the pilot along with the co-pilot of the jet successfully ejected before the jet hit the ground and was located a few metres away from it.
In videos, which surfaced over social media after the crash, the aircraft could be seen engulfed in flames while onlookers standing beside it. No information or official comments were available about the origin or the destination of the plane.

According to a report by Mirror Now, the Indian Air Force has ordered an inquiry into the Agra plane crash.
"A MiG-29 aircraft of the IAF crashed near Agra during a routine training sortie today, after encountering a system malfunction. The pilot manoeuvred the aircraft to ensure no damage to life or property on the ground, before ejecting safely. An enquiry has been ordered by the IAF, to ascertain the cause of the accident," the Indian Air Force said in a statement on X.
The crash came two months after another MiG-29 of the Indian Air Force crashed near Rajasthan's Barmer on September 2. Videos showed the fighter jet going up the flame after it hit the ground. Terming a critical technical snag a reason behind the crash, IAF had confirmed that the pilot ejected safely.
