Indian Airlines Advisory: At least four private airlines, including Air India, IndiGo, Akasa Air and SpiceJet, have issued advisories for passengers regarding arrivals at the airport in the wake of the ongoing Pakistani drone attacks on several northern and western Indian cities. The advisories have been issued after the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) directed all airlines to conduct extra checks and banned visitors' entry to terminal buildings.

In its advisory, Air India advised passengers to arrive three hours prior to the scheduled departure. "In view of an order by the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security on enhanced measures at airports, passengers across India are advised to arrive at their respective airports at least three hours prior to scheduled departure to ensure smooth check-in and boarding. Check-in closes 75 mins before departure," Air India said in its advisory.

As per regulatory guidelines, all passengers will be required to undergo secondary security checks before boarding," Akasa Air said.
