In a disturbing turn of events from Indore’s Kalpana Nagar area, a man allegedly rammed his ex-girlfriend with a scooter after she turned down his plea to get back together. The incident took place on Thursday evening and has left residents in shock over the violent escalation of a broken relationship.

According to police, the young woman had ended things with the accused some time ago. Since then, he had reportedly been harassing her, pressuring her to rekindle their relationship. When she stood her ground and refused, the situation took a violent turn.

Eyewitnesses told investigators that the man, riding a speeding Activa scooter, appeared to intentionally aim for the woman while she was walking along the road. In a desperate attempt to protect herself, she threw a stone at him. Instead of backing off, the man allegedly became more aggressive accelerating the scooter and ramming into her before fleeing the scene, as reported by NDTV.

The victim sustained injuries in the attack and later complained to the Hiranagar Police Station.

Based on her statement, police have registered a case against the man for assault, intimidation, and intentional harm. Further investigation has revealed that the accused has a criminal history, with at least seven prior cases lodged against him across different police stations.

“We have identified the accused and confirmed his criminal background. A manhunt has been launched, and he will be arrested soon," a senior official from Hiranagar Police told NDTV.
