IRCTC Train Delay: The railways on Wednesday stated that several trains operating from Bihar to New Delhi will face delays due to poor weather conditions. The authority stated that the continuous rainfall, along with gusty winds and thunderstorms have led to the delay in the operation of several key trains. It further stated that the delays has caused inconveniences to the passengers, adding that the situation is likely to improve in the upcoming days. It also informed that the operation timing of several trains is likely to change due to the delays. The authority has advised the passengers to follow the guidelines and plan their journey accordingly to avoid any inconveniences.

While providing details, the authority stated that the special Garib Rath Express coming from Bihar's Saharsa to Anand Vihar will reach its destination with a delay of more than 11 hours. It stated that the departure time has also been changed due to the delay, adding that the train will leave at 3 pm instead of 5.15 am. Apart from this, the authority further stated that New Delhi-Darbhanga Humsafar special will depart at 5:15 pm instead of 12:15 pm.

The railways stated that departure time of other important trains is also likely to change for the next few days. The officials informed that several local trains are also running late in Bihar due to trees falling on the railway tracks at many places due to storm and rain late Wednesday evening.

Darbhanga-New Delhi Humsafar Special (02569)- Eight hours
Ballia-New Superfast Express- Two and a half hours
Saharsa-New Delhi Special (04065)- 13.45 hours
Barauni-New Delhi Humsafar Special (02563)- 9 and a half hours
