Israel-Gaza Conflict: Amid the ongoing Hamas offensive attack that erupted in Israel on Saturday, Air India suspended its to-and-from flight services from Tel Aviv till October 14. The decision was taken in view of the safety of its passengers and crew, the airline spokesperson said Sunday.
"Air India will extend all possible support to passengers who have confirmed bookings on any flight during this period," the Air India spokesperson added.
On Saturday, an Air India Flight from New Delhi to Tel Aviv and a return flight from Tel Aviv to New Delhi were canceled.

Over 500 people were killed on both sides after the militant Hamas group, which controls the Gaza Strip, attacked Israel on Saturday. According to the Israeli military, Hamas militants launched more than 2,000 rockets into Israel from the Gaza Strip as they crossed into southern Israel by land, sea, and air using paragliders.

Following the rocket attacks from the Gaza Strip by Hamas, Israel declared a state of war in the country. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in a video posted on X (formerly Twitter), addressed the citizens of the war-torn country stating, "We are at war. Not an operation, not an escalation – at war."

On the same day of the attack from Hamas, the Indian Embassy in Israel on Saturday issued an advisory for its nationals, requesting them to remain vigilant and observe safety protocols.
Israel Launches Operation Swords Of Iron
In a counterattack, Israel launched 'Operation Swords of Iron' was initiated by Israel, which destroyed many alleged Hamas hideouts in the Gaza Strip. Israel's response to the Hamas incursion came after PM Netanyahu vowed to turn all known hideouts of the militant outfit into "rubble". He also warned all Gaza residents to leave, adding that the country would immediately use all its strength to destroy Hamas's capabilities.
