Under the campaign 'Digital Safety for Senior Citizens: Sach Ke Sathi', a webinar is being organised for senior citizens in Delhi on October 19 (Sunday). The webinar is being conducted by Google under its renowned 'DigiKavach' initiative, in collaboration with Dainik Jagran and Vishvas News.
In today's digital era, cybercriminals often target senior citizens. During this session, participants will be informed about various types of online scams and effective ways to protect themselves from such fraud. Highlighting the importance of digital safety, experts from Vishvas News will share useful tips and insights. The Well Being Foundation is also extending its support to this online training programme scheduled for Sunday.
About the Programme
Under the 'Digital Safety for Senior Citizens: Sach Ke Sathi' campaign, teams from Jagran Digital and Vishvas News are conducting seminars and webinars across the country to provide training on digital safety. The initiative is covering 30 cities across 20 states in India.
Besides Delhi, such programmes are also being organised in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Punjab, Uttarakhand, and several other states. Participants are being trained to identify and avoid online scams effectively.
Google's 'DigiKavach' initiative aims to raise awareness across India about online fraud and scams, empowering people to stay safe in the digital world.
