A chaotic scene unfolded outside a luxury hotel in Jaipur after a couple, allegedly staying in a room with open curtains, was filmed in a private moment, sparking a major traffic jam and outrage both online and offline. The video, reportedly shot at the Holiday Inn near Jaipur’s 22 Godown area, quickly went viral on social media, drawing sharp reactions from all corners.
The footage, which appears to have been recorded by a passerby through the window, shows the couple engaged in an intimate act inside their hotel room. Though their faces aren't clearly visible, the video leaves little ambiguity about the nature of the act. A crowd soon gathered outside the hotel, shouting at the couple and contributing to a massive commotion and traffic disruption in the area.
The incident has triggered a fierce debate on social media, where users are split between condemning the couple’s lack of discretion and calling out the person who recorded and circulated the video for violating privacy. While some internet users blamed the couple for not drawing the curtains, others slammed the voyeuristic behaviour of the bystander who filmed them.

One user posted, “A video of a couple’s private moments recorded from the street at Jaipur’s Holiday Inn hotel went viral, creating a stir. This is a violation of privacy, which may be illegal under Indian law (such as IPC Section 354C). Some believe that the couple should have been careful, but recording and sharing is unethical. The hotel’s responsibility is also in question, such as the arrangement of curtains. This incident highlights the challenges of privacy in the digital age.”
Others defended the couple’s right to privacy, even if they had been careless. “They are doing it in a hotel and not on any highway. Those making such videos must face legal action,” wrote another user.

Meanwhile, some criticised the couple more harshly, stating, “They left the curtains open. Didn’t you see it? Why do hotels provide curtains? This is their own mistake, as they should have paid attention to the curtains.”
A more empathetic voice argued, “It is immoral to post such private moments of a couple, even if they were careless. They were doing this in a hotel room and not on the road. Imagine someone posting a video from your bedroom with your wife.”
As the video continues to circulate online, The Daily Jagran have refrained from sharing the explicit video to protect the couple’s privacy. So far, there has been no confirmation of legal action being taken against the individual who recorded and distributed the clip, though calls for accountability and privacy rights remain at the forefront of public discussion.
