In a shocking incident, a 30-year-old nurse from a primary health center in Jalaun, Uttar Pradesh, was allegedly attacked and gang-raped by four men while on her way to work. The assault occurred as the nurse was riding her scooter and was ambushed in a secluded area near Musmaria turn, close to Suhakhar Kheda.

The police have filed a case and are investigating the matter. The victim has reported that she was overpowered by the suspects, with two of them allegedly raping her, while the others tortured her by inserting a stick and chilli powder into her private parts. She was found unconscious shortly after the attack and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, two suspects have been arrested and are being questioned by the Police authorities. However, Superintendent of Police Pradeep Verma said that the victim was having an affair with a man, and his family members could be involved in the attack. The investigation is still ongoing.

The Uttar Pradesh police have registered a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and are investigating the matter. Two suspects have been detained and are being interrogated.
