J-K Weather Update: There will be light rain in Jammu division on May 10 and 11 with partly cloudy weather forecast for the next three days, bringing much needed respite from heat for the residents. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be partly cloudy weather on May 7, 8 and 9. This will cause a slight drop in temperature. Partially cloudy weather prevailed in Jammu on Monday as well. Amidst all this, the maximum temperature of Jammu on Monday was recorded at 30.6 degrees Celsius which is 5.5 degrees Celsius below normal.
The minimum temperature was 20.8 degrees Celsius which is 2.5 degrees Celsius below normal. Due to the change in weather, the temperature in Jammu has again dropped. Last week the temperature in Jammu had crossed 40 degrees Celsius.

Uttarakhand Weather Update
In another update, residents of Uttarakhand are enjoying pleasing weather with light rain across the state; however, the weather is likely to be challenging, as the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for heavy rain, thunderstorms and snowfall in the coming days. As per the weather department, there is also a possibility of hail accompanied by thunder and strong winds at isolated places.
