Delhi Lok Adalat 2025: National Lok Adalat will be held on May 10, 2025 at seven court complexes across Delhi for amicable settlements of cases, including traffic violations, that are either pending in court or at the pre-litigation stage. This approach not only alleviates pressure on traditional courts but also offers citizens a quicker resolution. Conducted by the Delhi State Legal Services Authority, the Lok Adalat will be held from 10 am to 4 pm on May 10. Lok Adalat, which translates to 'People's Court,' serves as an alternative dispute resolution system in India. Lok Adalat will try to resolve up to 180,000 challans through 180 benches, with each bench handling 1,000 cases.
Compoundable traffic notices and challans issued until January 31, 2025, that are available on the Delhi Traffic Police Portal will be taken up by the courts. Lok Adalat will be held at Karkarodoma, Patiala House, Dwarka, Rohini, Rouse Avenue, Saket, and Tis Hazari court complexes
