Karnataka Class 8 Boy Kicked In Testicles By Bullies At Mysuru School; FIR Filed

Mysuru News: A class 8th student in Karnataka’s Mysuru suffered serious injuries to his testicles after being assaulted by three of his classmates on school premises.

As per the parent’s complaint, the 13-year-old boy was asked to get cash and mobile phones and repeatedly harassed by the classmates, as per an NDTV report.

The accused kids allegedly assaulted the victim in the school’s washroom on October 25.

As per the family, the police initially hesitated to file an FIR, but finally did so following pressure. 

A case under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita sections relating to voluntarily causing hurt and an act endangering others' life or personal safety was registered at the Jayalakshmipuram police station.

The boy has told the media that he had been suffering harassment for four years.

"This started when I was in Class 4. I was made the class leader and asked to report anyone who does anything wrong. I did that, and they beat me up. My mother complained to the teacher, but she didn't do anything," he said. Asked about the October 25 incident, he said, "Two of them held my hand and one of them kicked me in my privates twice," he said, as quoted by an NDTV report.
