Karnataka CM Tussle: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will be attending a breakfast meeting at Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar’s residence in Bengaluru’s Sadashivanagar on Tuesday morning. This shall be the second breakfast meet after the previous one held at the Chief Minister’s residence on Saturday to resolve the tussle surrounding the CM post and maintain unity within the state Congress unit.
As per a News18 report, the breakfast meeting will happen at 9.30 am. Amid an ongoing power tussle, the Congress top brass has reportedly proposed a formula to the CM Siddaramaiah and his deputy Shivakumar. The top leadership, after analysing the situation, has decided that while Siddaramaiah will continue to hold the top post, Shivakumar's loyalists are set to get key portfolios.
Apart from this, the leadership has also decided that the 2028 Assembly election will be contested under the leadership of Shivakumar, ensuring a smooth power transition. The leadership has also asked both the top leaders to resolve the issue and not to discuss the issue in public.

Apart from this, Shivakumar claimed that there was no factions, adding that he has been cooperating with the chief minister.
"The breakfast was good. We didn't talk about anything there. We just had breakfast. DKS came to our house today...DKS invited me to his house," Siddaramaiah told reporters. "We have decided that we will follow whatever the high command says. There will be no confusion from tomorrow. There is still no confusion. Some media reporters have created the confusion," the chief minister added.
