Karnataka Politics: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and his deputy, DK Shivakumar on Saturday held a joint press conference in Bengaluru after the key breakfast meeting to resolve the ongoing power tussle. While addressing the reporters, the chief minister stated that they both had breakfast, adding that no politics was discussed. "The breakfast was good. We didn't talk about anything there. We just had breakfast. DKS came to our house today...DKS invited me to his house," Siddaramaiah stated.

Apart from this, both the leaders have also been directed to not discuss the issue in public after their alleged "war of words". While Siddaramaiah stated that the final decision will be taken by the party's top brass, the deputy chief minister asserted that he was in no hurry for any post.
