Karnataka's Golden Chariot Train Returns:  Indian Railways and IRCTC are planning to operate a seven-star hotel on wheels, which is a big step. A spa, a gym, and even a wine or beer section will be available on this opulent train. Reservations for the train are currently being accepted for a few dates between December and March. It takes six days and five nights to complete the trip.

The Golden Chariot Luxury Train, which will highlight Karnataka's rich cultural legacy, is prepared to return to the tracks. On December 14, it will leave. The train can accommodate 80 passengers in 40 cabins, including 13 double-bed cabins, 26 twin-bed cabins, and one cabin for guests with disabilities (Divyang).

With air conditioning and Wi-Fi, all of the opulent cabins provide travelers a royal experience. Every cabin has TVs with access to a variety of OTT platforms, plush beds, padded furnishings, and opulent bathrooms. For enhanced comfort, the train also has a saloon.

Onboard, there are special facilities for international and Indian cuisine. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food are served in its two outstanding restaurants, Ruchi and Nalapak, which use international cutlery and tableware. The bar serves branded liquor, beer, and wine.

The Golden Chariot train also features the Arogya Spa, which provides a range of services, including spa therapies, for the comfort and well-being of its passengers. There's also a state-of-the-art gym. The entire train is outfitted with CCTV cameras and a fire alarm system to guarantee the security of its passengers.

  • Bengaluru is the starting point, followed by Bandipur, Mysore, Halebidu, Chikmangaluru, Hampi, Goa, and Bengaluru.
  • Starting from Bengaluru to Mysore, Kanchipuram, Mahabalipuram, Thanjavur, Chettinad, Cochin, Cherthala and back to Bengaluru.
