A massive heist occurred at Canara Bank in Basavanabagewadi, Vijayapura district, during which gold ornaments weighing 59 kg and Rs 5.2 lakh cash were taken. The case has posed a significant problem to the authorities, particularly after claims surfaced that black magic was utilised to mislead the investigators.
In response, eight special teams have been created to investigate the matter, and officials have stated that the perpetrators would be apprehended shortly.
