In a tragic incident near Kattihosahalli in Karnataka's Doddaballapur taluk, a high-speed car collided with a divider and flipped multiple times. The incident resulted in the death of a 20-year-old man and injuries to four others. 

The accident occurred on February 24, when the vehicle traveling from Dharwad to Vijayapura, collided with the divider. According to the officials,the deceased, identified as, 20 year-old Mohammad Yunus, who reportedly drove the car, succumbed to his injuries during treatment. The other four received treatment at a nearby hospital.

A video capturing the accident was shared on X. In the video, a speeding car could be seen hitting the divider at a high speed that resulted in it flipping four times.

Due to the heavy force of the hit and flip two passengers were flung out of the car and landed on the road, reported NDTV. 

In a similar incident, a woman died after being struck by a speeding car while attempting to cross the road. The accident took place on February 23, near Basapura village in Molakalmuru taluk. The woman was flung into the air after being hit by the car, leading to her death on the spot.

The deceased identified as Ananthamma was a resident of K Rayapura village in Kudligi taluk and had been working at a coffee estate with her family in Sakleshpur. As per the investigation, she was traveling to her native village for Shivaratri celebrations.
