Karnataka Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has stated that several districts of Karnataka are likely to witness moderate to heavy rainfall in the next three days. The weather department stated that several regions are also set to experience a significant drop in temperature, especially in the early hours. The continuous rainfall is also likely to lead to issues like waterlogging and power outages in several cities, leading to inconveniences for the residents. The weather department has advised the residents of the coastal regions to follow the guidelines and limit their outings.

While providing details, the IMD stated that several districts, including Mandya, Hassan, Chikkamagaluru, Mysore, Chamarajanagar, Kodagu, Kolar, Chikkaballapur, Tumkur, and Ramanagara, are set to witness heavy rain at least till November 3. The weather department also stated that these regions are also expected to witness a sharp drop in temperature and a cold wave for the next few days. The continuous rainfall will also lead to flood-like situations in the lower regions.

The residents of Bengaluru are likely to witness light rain in the upcoming days, leading to a significant drop in the temperature. The weather department stated that the minimum temperature is likely to drop by two to three degrees Celsius in the upcoming days. While the maximum temperature is likely to be calculated at 23 degrees Celsius, the minimum temperature is expected to remain around 17 degrees Celsius. The rain is expected to cause waterlogging in several regions, leading to inconveniences for the commuters.

The fishermen of the coastal regions are advised to maintain a distance from the water bodies and limit their financial activities for the next few days. Apart from Karnataka, several other states, including Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, are also likely to witness light to heavy rainfall for the next few days.
