Karnataka: Workers Injured As Pickup Truck Overturns On Madikeri-Somwarpet Highway After Tyre Burst | VIDEO

A devastating accident occurred when a pickup truck, carrying multiple workers, flipped over on the Madikeri-Somwarpet highway in Kodagu district, Karnataka. The incident, triggered by an unexpected tyre burst, was captured on CCTV and has rapidly gained widespread attention.

In the video, the truck is seen moving steadily along the highway until a sudden loud burst causes the vehicle to swerve sharply to the right. Within moments, the truck overturns.

Three workers who were in the cargo bed are ejected from the vehicle as it flips. One of them narrowly escapes, falling dangerously close to the truck's collapse but quickly getting up and moving to safety. Another worker crawls out from under the overturned truck, while the third remains trapped until passers-by stop to assist.

A man sitting next to the driver exits the vehicle shortly afterward, appearing to be unharmed. According to News18 report, authorities soon arrived at the scene, and two workers, who were reported to be in critical condition, were taken to Madikeri Hospital for urgent care.
