Vande Bharat News: The Vande Bharat train, now running from Katra to Srinagar, has opened up a new era of connectivity, enabling passengers to travel seamlessly from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. The security arrangement of Vande Bharat is top-notch, as the train has been fortified like an impenetrable fortress.

To ensure utmost safety, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) has deployed its elite Commandos, known as CORAS, to protect Vande Bharat trains on the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla railway line. With this robust security measure in place, passengers can travel with peace of mind.

During the inaugural run of the Vande Bharat train, commandos were visibly present onboard. According to officials, a dedicated security detail will accompany every Vande Bharat train to ensure safe travel. Each train will have a security contingent comprising 15 commandos and one observer.

Vande Bharat train service between Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra and Srinagar was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Passengers can now embark on a journey starting June 7.

The Vande Bharat train will operate six days a week, with Tuesdays reserved for maintenance. Initially, the service will run between Katra and Srinagar, as Jammu Tawi station is undergoing redevelopment under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.
