Kerala Assembly Election: Keralam Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Thursday released the manifesto of the Left Democratic Front (LDF) ahead of the assembly polls. The chief minister asserted that the ruling alliance is dedicated to eradicating poverty from the state and providing employment to the youths. Vijayan stated that the LDF has dedicatedly worked to improve the healthcare of the state. He further promised 50 per cent job assurance for women and an increment of the welfare pension from Rs 2000 to Rs 3000.

While releasing the manifesto, Vijayan stated that the ruling alliance is committed to fulfilling its promises, adding that his goal is to transform the poll-bound state into a developed state. "The past 10 years have been a period of rebuilding the self-confidence of our society. The people recognise this change. This manifesto includes the projects implemented by the LDF government for the development of Keralam and our promises for the future, Vijayan stated.

"The government is committed to implementing every item mentioned in this manifesto. The LDF has a history of fulfilling the promises made in the past. Our goal is to transform Keralam into a developed state. To achieve this, the continued support of the people is essential," he added.
