Kerala News: A couple who ran a YouTube channel in Parassala, Kerala, was found dead at their home on Sunday, with authorities suspecting suicide. Neighbours informed the police after noticing the couple had not been seen for some time.

The victims, identified as 45-year-old Selvaraj and his 40-year-old wife, Priya, were discovered with Selvaraj found hanging and Priya’s body lying on the bed. Preliminary investigations suggest the couple may have died two days before they were found.

The couple ran a YouTube channel called 'Sellus Family', which had approximately 18,000 subscribers and featured over 1,400 videos. Their last upload, posted on Friday night, was a 55-second montage of their photos, accompanied by the song "Vidaparayum Neram."

Priya was known for her regular live sessions on YouTube, with her final appearance on Thursday night, during which she appeared cheerful and engaged. Police continue to investigate the case, aiming to uncover more about the couple’s last days and the reasons behind their untimely deaths.

In separate incident, T.V. Prashanth, a contractual electrician at Kannur Medical College Hospital, was suspended after ADM K. Naveen Babu’s suicide. The suspension followed an investigation revealing serious violations by Prashanth, who had previously accused ADM Naveen Babu of bribery. Health Minister had earlier suggested his dismissal, with further actions pending. A report from the Health Department Secretary highlighted concerns, questioning Prashanth’s application to start a petrol pump despite his role as a government employee.
