Kolkata Metro Update: The Kolkata Metro Railwa weekdays (Monday to Friday), a total of 120 services (60 UP and 60 DN) will be operated on the Yellow Line (Noapara–Jai Hind Bimanbandar), with extended service hours.

According to a statement from Metro Railway, the extended hours will be from 7:18 am to 9:30 pm, instead of the current 7:55 am to 8:17 pm.

The first service will now depart from Noapara at 7:18 am, heading towards Bimanbandar station (the airport), instead of the previous time of 7:55 am. Similarly, the first service from the airport will depart at 7:40 am, instead of the earlier 8:00 am.

The last service from Noapara to Bimanbandar will now depart at 9:58 pm, instead of the previous 8:00 pm. The last service from the airport to Noapara will be at 9:18 pm, instead of the earlier 8:05 pm.

On Saturdays, 92 services (46 UP and 46 DN) will be operated, an increase from the current 44 services. The extended hours on Saturdays will be from 7:18 am to 9:30 pm, replacing the previous hours of 7:35 am to 8:32 pm.

On Sundays, 78 services (39 UP and 39 DN) will be available, up from 40 services. Sunday service hours will be extended from 9:18 am to 9:30 pm, instead of the current 8:35 am to 8:22 pm.

On both Saturdays and Sundays, the interval between services on the Yellow Line will be reduced to 18 minutes, as opposed to the previous 35-minute interval.
