A stray dog created panic in Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh, on Saturday after attacking several people across the city. The incident caused fear among residents as the dog injured children, women, and men in different areas throughout the day. By evening, more than 50 people had reached the district hospital for treatment after being bitten.

Toddler Injured In Stray Dog Attack

According to NaiDunia report, the most shocking incident took place in Laxmibai Colony, where a two-and-a-half-year-old girl was playing outside her house. A black stray dog suddenly attacked her and bit her face badly. Local people managed to rescue the child and immediately took her to the hospital. When people rushed to save the girl, the dog also attacked them. One more person was injured during the incident.

Attacks Across The City

The dog attacked people in many areas of Shivpuri, including Vijaypuram, Gandhi Park, Thandi Sadak, Fruit Mandi, Custom Gate, Khuda Basti, and Nawab Sahab Road. In Vijayapuram, a stray dog attacked local resident Balram Singh Rawat, biting him on the hand. Singh said the dog came running at high speed, first hit a car, and then suddenly attacked him. Several other people, including an eight-year-old girl, were also injured in similar attacks. The stray dog was later captured by authorities in the evening.

Dog Attack Caught On CCTV

A CCTV video from the Fruit Mandi area shows the dog suddenly attacking a shopkeeper and then running away. The video has gone viral on social media, increasing fear among residents. According to doctors, more than 60 people came to the district hospital for treatment after dog bites. All of them were given anti-rabies injections and medical care.
