This comes days after the Pune Porsche accident, which claimed the lives of two IT professionals that created a massive uproar across the nation. A 17-year-old youth, who is the son of a Pune-based real estate developer, Vishal Agarwal, on Tuesday, rammed his high-end Porsche Taycan into a motorcycle near the Kalyani Nagar area of the city, leading to the immediate deaths of the aforementioned duo.
The furore escalated after the accused was released by the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) on conditions like doing social service and writing an essay on the accident.

A Juvenile Justice Board will decide if the teenager, who recently mowed down two people with his luxury car, should be tried as an adult, the lawyer representing the accused said. "The Juvenile Justice Act has procedures to determine whether the accused Child in Conflict with Law (CCL) be considered a minor or an adult. It takes almost 90 days to conduct this procedure," Prashant Patil, lawyer of the accused said while addressing media persons.
"If a juvenile or CCL is arrested, investigative agencies must file a charge sheet within 30 days of the arrest to consider them as an adult. After the charge sheet is filed, a two-month procedure follows, which includes psychological and social assessments along with a de-addiction test," he said as quoted by news agency ANI.
