A couple of days after the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terror Squad arrested Mohammad Harun, a scrap dealer from Delhi's Seelampur, his brother revealed that he used to visit Pakistan to meet his second wife. He returned 

Harun was arrested on Wednesday for having links with Pakistani agencies and allegedly sharing important information related to India's internal security. According to the ATS, Harun worked closely with an employee from the Pakistan High Commission, who would give money to him money for sending people seeking visas to Pakistan, The Indian Express reported.

Reportedly, the ATS also claimed that Harun used to get commissions, which were used to fund anti-national activities.

According to a report by Jagran.com, Harun was leading a double life. Haroon, a father of three children, had gone to Pakistan without informing his family and married his paternal aunt's divorced daughter.

The secret of his marriage was revealed to his family when he insisted on going to Pakistan again after his initial visit in 2022. After the truth about his second wife came out, his first wife distanced herself from him. He returned to India from Pakistan on the third day of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. He stayed in Pakistan for 21 days. 

Haroon and his mother live on the same street, his mother lives in a separate house with her three sons, where Harun has a scrap business. 

His brother Shahid said that Harun was married to Shabana, a resident of Noida, in 2007. The couple has three children. In 2022, he visited Pakistan's Gujranwala, where their paternal aunt's family lives. 

Shahid said that his aunt and uncle had died, and their daughter Sumera was divorced. So, Harun married her without telling anyone. Shahid said that after a few months of returning from there to Delhi, he again started asking to go to Pakistan.

When the family objected to this, he told them the reality. Between 2022 to 2025, Harun visited Pakistan five times. His last visit was from April 5 to April 25.
