In anticipation of the arrival of RSS Chief Dr Mohan Bhagwat and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to attend the 452nd Birth Anniversary (Jayanti Mahotsav) of Jagadguru Sant Malook Das in Mathura and Vrindavan, the district administrations have implemented significant traffic diversions and security arrangements starting Tuesday morning to ensure a seamless visit.
The new traffic plan will be in effect from 7 am until the conclusion of the scheduled events. To ensure a smooth transition, SP Traffic Manoj Kumar Yadav and Traffic In-charge Shaurya Kumar held a briefing at the Bhuteshwar intersection on Monday. During this session, guidelines were issued to all Traffic Sub-Inspectors (TSIs) and personnel regarding the management of VIP movement and public convenience.
Key Restricted Zones
The SP Traffic confirmed that all vehicle movement will be strictly prohibited on several major routes during the VIP transit. Affected areas in Vrindavan include:
- Panigaon and Sau-Saiya tri-junction
- Panighat and Chamunda Cut
- KC Ghat and Atalla Crossing
- Kailash Nagar, Malook Peeth and the Pawanhans Helipad routes
Urban And Commercial Traffic Rerouting
To manage congestion, heavy and commercial vehicles will be diverted toward the Yamuna Expressway and the main National Highway via alternative paths. Within the urban sectors of Mathura, traffic will be regulated or restricted at:
- Masani Crossing and Deeg Gate
- Bhuteshwar and Bijli Ghar tri-junction
- Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi and Dhouli Pyau
- SBI Crossing
Parking And Public Advice
The administration has designated separate parking zones for general commuters and VIP vehicles. Roadways buses and heavy transport have also been assigned specific detour routes. Authorities have urged citizens to utilise these alternative paths and avoid restricted zones unless absolutely necessary to minimise travel delays.
