The saffron party has appointed Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, its OBC 'Morcha' head K Laxman and its secretary Asha Lakra as central observers for electing the leader of its legislative party in Madhya Pradesh.
It's most likely that the trio will today meet to finalise the CM in Madhya Pradesh today.
However, the process to finalise the CM in Rajasthan is expected to take place on Tuesday. Central observers--Union minister Rajnath Singh, party general secretary Vinod Tawde and Rajya Sabha MP Saroj Pande-- will convene the legislative meeting of newly-elected MLAs.
Amid various names surfacing from Rajasthan, party state unit chief CP Joshi said all the candidates are deserving ones and the speculation will end once the legislature party meeting is done away with. “Once the legislature party meeting is held, the speculation around our CM will end. There is nothing wrong with having multiple candidates. All the contenders are deserving candidates,” he said.
