Madhya Pradesh News: A 23-year-old woman collapsed and died of a suspected cardiac arrest while dancing on stage in a wedding. The incident occurred during a 'haldi' function at a resort in Vidisha district, where over 200 guests were present.
The deceased, identified as Parinita Jain from Indore, had travelled to Vidisha to attend her cousin's wedding. A video shared on social media captured the moment when Parinita was dancing to the Bollywood song "Lehra Ke Balkha Ke" before she suddenly fell to the ground on Saturday night.
Family members, some of whom are doctors, quickly attempted to perform CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) on her, but sadly, she did not respond. Parinita was rushed to a private hospital, where medical staff declared her dead upon arrival.
Parinita was an MBA graduate living with her parents in the South Tukoganj area of Indore. This tragic event is particularly poignant for the family, as one of her younger brothers had previously died of a heart attack at the age of 12.
This is not the first instance of such incidents occurring during celebrations in Madhya Pradesh. In October of the previous year, a 15-year-old boy suffered a cardiac arrest while playing cricket in Agar-Malwa district.
