The National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) is overseeing the development of a 508-km high-speed rail corridor. The corporation announced the launch of a steel bridge over the two DFCCIL tracks near Vadodara in Gujarat on April 8.

The corporation in the statement, released on its official website, said that this was the seventh steel bridge completed for the project in Gujarat out of the planned 28 steel bridges for the entire corridor. All seven bridges constructed so far have utilized over 10,000 metric tons of steel, providing a significant boost to the steel industries in India.
