Mysuru LPG Leak: Two sisters in Mysuru died due to LPG leakage in a gas geyser on Saturday morning. The deceased have been identified as Gulfam (23) and her sister Simran Taj (20), who died in the bathroom after inhaling the LPG gas.

As per the police, investigating the matter, the geyser leaked LPG gas but did not catch fire. Victims' father, Altaf, forced open the door only to find his daughters lying unconscious after they did not come out for a time. Both sisters were declared dead after the family rushed them to the hospital.

In a separate but similar incident that occurred on the same morning in Bengaluru, one person was killed and three others sustained injuries in a cooking gas cylinder blast at KR Puram.

According to police, the incident occurred at Triveni Nagar in Bengaluru. Due to the blast, the building collapsed while some houses in the neighbourhood were also damaged, police said.

All three injured have been admitted to the hospital and are receiving medical assistance.

In the third of similar incidents, a 6-year-old girl died after a fire broke out in their flat in the Tila Mor police station area due to a short circuit in the fridge. The mother of the child is critically injured and currently on a ventilator.
