Namo Bharat Train Update: The fare of premium coach of Namo Bharat train has been reduced, jagran.com reported. Now the fare of a premium coach is only 20 per cent more than the standard coach. Earlier it was 50 per cent more. No change has been made in the fare of the standard coach.
Earlier, the standard class fare from Anand Vihar to Meerut South used to be Rs 130 and the premium class fare used to be Rs 195. That is, the premium class fare was 50 per cent more than the standard class. Now the standard class fare is Rs 130 but the premium class fare has come down to Rs 155.
Earlier the number of passengers travelling in premium coaches were less. Now after the reduction in fare, the number of passengers is likely to increase. At present, Namo Bharat train is running on a 55 km route. This includes - New Ashok Nagar, Anand Vihar, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar, Duhai, Duhai Depot, Muradnagar, Modinagar South, Modinagar North and Meerut South stations.
Co-working Space Opens At Namo Bharat Station
A co-working space was launched on Sunday at the Namo Bharat station at the new bus stand. The station has 42 open workstations, 11 private cabins and two fully equipped meeting halls. This work space will benefit professionals who work under a remote system or do not have a fixed office.
The co-working space has high-speed internet, plug-and-play desks and 24x7 access. It has facilities for startups, free lancers, biometrics, key-card access, lighting, climate control, automated meeting room booking, video conferencing tools, wireless screen sharing, digital brainstorming, QR based cashless services, hot desk booking, vending machines etc. A refreshment zone has been started here.
