In a shocking incident from Hyderabad, a 30-year-old Nepali man allegedly murdered his live-in partner following a dispute over her pregnancy, packed her body into a travel bag, and abandoned it in an isolated area. The accused has been arrested.

According to officials, the victim, identified as Tara Bohra, was also a Nepali national. Her body was discovered on June 4 inside a travel bag near a residential locality in Bachupally. The man behind the crime, Vijay Toppa alias Wilson, worked as a chef at a local restaurant and was living with Tara in a rented house in Bowrampet, Hyderabad.

Police said the two had initially connected through social media platform Facebook before entering a relationship. Though Tara was already married and had two children, she moved to Hyderabad on April 15 to live with Vijay.

The crime came to light when a local watchman stumbled upon the suspicious bag and alerted authorities. Hyderabad Police, accompanied by forensic experts, swiftly launched a detailed investigation.
