Delhi-Pune Vande BharatThe Indian Railways is likely to launch the Vande Bharat Sleeper train for several routes, including New Delhi to Pune. The Vande Bharat Sleeper train will be a semi-high-speed train and will level up the connectivity game between the two metro cities. Sleeper version of the already successful high-speed Vande Bharat train will set a new benchmark for passengers’ comfort and seamless travel. 

New Delhi To Pune Vande Bharat Sleeper Train

The proposed sleeper train between the two cities will cover a distance of 1589 KMS in just 20 hours, running through Agra Cantt

Starting from New Delhi Railway Station (NDLS), the Delhi-Pune Vande Bharat will halt at major stations including Mathura, Agra Cantt, Gwalior, Bhopal Junction, Khandwa, and Bhusaval Junction. Once commissioned, the New Delhi-Pune Vande Bharat will be the fastest train on this route with a speed of 160 KMPH, covering the distance of over 1500 km between the cities in nearly 20 hours.

New Delhi-Pune Vande Bharat Sleeper Train: Coaches, Time And Ticket Price

The 16 coaches of the Vande Bharat Sleeper train will include 11 AC 3 Tier coaches, 4 AC 2 Tier coaches, and 1 First Class AC coach. The ticket pricing for the AC-3 tier will be around 2500, and nearly 4000 will be charged for tickets in AC-2. The first class AC travel in the Vande Bharat Sleeper train from New Delhi to Pune will cost around 5000, ET Now reported. 

According to a report of ET Now, the New Delhi to Pune Vande Bharat Sleeper train is expected to depart from NDLS at around 16:30 hrs to reach Pune Junction at 01:00 hrs. On its return journey, the train is likely to leave Pune Junction at around 15:00 hrs to reach the national capital at 11:30 hrs, the next day.
