An unusual case has emerged from Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, where a young man has allegedly assaulted his elderly grandmother and aunt after they refused to meet his demands for an expensive iPhone and Rs 3 lakh. A video purportedly showing the alleged assault has surfaced on social media.

According to Jagran.com, the incident reportedly took place in Behlimpura village under the Kotwali Nagar police station area. The accused allegedly held the two women and assaulted them after they refused to buy him an iPhone.

According to the allegations, the young man had repeatedly pressured his family to fulfil his expensive demands. The family reportedly said that he had recently been given a new motorcycle, but he also demanded an expensive iPhone and Rs 3 lakh, News18 reported.

When his demands were allegedly not met, an argument reportedly broke out, following which he assaulted his grandmother and aunt (Dad's sister). In the video circulating on social media, the elderly woman can reportedly be heard crying and recounting her ordeal.

She also alleged that the accused had been creating fear and disturbance in the house and had been continuously pressuring the family to meet his demands.

The woman has appealed to the police and administration for justice.

Police have begun searching for the accused based on the video circulating on social media. City Circle Officer Prakhar Pandey said police were looking for the young man in connection with the video. He added that no written complaint had been submitted at any police station regarding the matter so far.
