Maharashtra Hill Tragedy: In the latest updates in the Maharashta Hill Tragedy case, a family relative urged people not to spread rumuors about the death of the three. This comes days after after a family of three fell into a 250-foot gorge on a cliff on a hill in Maharashtra's Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The deceased have been identified as Kunal (18), Murlidhar (father, 48) and Sangita Changude (mother). While initial investigations suggested that the three died by suicide over a dispute on EMIs for the teenager's iPhone, Sangita’s sister Pallavi Patil, alleged that its a “rumour” and that family was facing internal issues since two years.
After returning from the funeral, Pallavi shared a video, saying that people spreading such tales "know nothing" and do not have any idea of what the family has been going through. "Sangita Chandgude, Kunal Chandgude, and Murlidhar Chandgude, were my elder sister, my sister's son, and my brother-in-law. Only we know the state we are in after losing the three of them today," she said.
"The things you are saying are causing us immense pain," she added. Patil said that people on social media have been spreading a false narrative about the family’s death. "You have expressed your opinions through these videos, but you know nothing. You don't know us, and you are unaware of the truth behind any of this. And yet you continue to spread a false narrative. Do you realise how much pain these videos are causing my parents?" she asked.
Pallavi said that her family is not in a state of mind where they have the ability to cope up with the situation. “Before saying anything, remember, my parents are 75 years old, and they would not be able to bear the shock of such words,” she added.

Sangita's Last Post
Sangita shared frequent updates at her YouTube channel and posted video with her son too. She shared a suspicious video a day before her death. She talked about relationship and values in the video. "Be ready to give your fate but to that person who values you, who values your love. If a person does not value you, does not value your love, or does not value what you do for them, then there is no point in doing anything for such a person," she said in Marathi in a one-minute video.
The woman equated relationships with a chapati,claiming that it works well only when two people put in the same amount of effort. "It is the same with relationships. If it is going on from both sides, if both are valuing it, then stay in such a relation. Otherwise, if one person is valuing it and the other is not, then such a relation has no meaning. It is always better to get out of such a relationship," she said.
An Old Post
Earlier, Sangita made another contentious post about her family, saying, "You've taken me and my son right from the property. You did not even let your brothers and parents stay together. You’ve destroyed my happy family. You’ve poisoned the peace of my family. You’ve drifted my son away from his parents. Your upcoming seven generations will suffer; that’s my curse.
A Broken Home?
Jagran sources said the couple's elder son died of illness six years ago, and they had been embroiled in a family dispute since then. Due to tensions at home, Murlidhar immersed himself in work and wouldn't return home for months. Just two days before the family members' deaths, Murlidhar returned home after three months, further exacerbating the tension at home.
