Delhi-Howrah Puja Special Train: Ahead of the prominent festivals Durga Puja, Diwali and Chhath Puja, the railways has announced a special train between New Delhi and Howrah to manage the crowd. As per the schedule, the special train will operate between October 2 and November 27. The train will pass through several stations of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh as well, providing relief to residents of these regions.

The railways stated that the special service will operate under train numbers 04052/04051, adding that the train will cover the total distance in 30 hours. The officials, while providing details, stated that train number 04052 will depart from New Delhi at 6.15 pm every Friday and will arrive Howrah at 11.40 pm the next day.
In the return journey, train number 04051 will leave Howrah at 1.40 am every Sunday between October 4 and November 29. The special train will reach New Delhi at 8.20 am the following day, the officials added. Along with the passengers of West Bengal, the train will also provide an additional travel option to the residents of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
Train To Pass Through These Stations
The special train will stop at multiple stations of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, including Mokama, Patna Junction, Danapur, Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Prayagraj and Kanpur Central. The passengers of these regions have been advised to stay updated and plan their travel accordingly to avoid the rush. The special train was announced after the passengers were unable to book tickets in the regular trains due to the high demands.
Apart from this, a festive special train was also announced between New Delhi and Darbhanga on a daily basis till the November end. While providing details, the authority stated that train number 04098/04097 New Delhi-Darbhanga-New Delhi will operate to provide an additional travel option to the passengers of Bihar.
