Real Human Remains Or School Lab Model? Delhi Police Probe Suspected Skeleton Found During Cleanliness Drive

During a cleanliness drive in Delhi, a skeleton-like structure was discovered, prompting a police investigation. Authorities are currently probing the matter to determine whether the structure is a real human skeleton or an artificial dummy.

During the initial investigation, it was revealed that the scrap-dealer had obtained the structure from a school. He claimed he had purchased the scrap from a school about a month ago, and that the box, which contained what looked like human remains, came along with the material. Further investigation into the matter is underway.

Is it a dummy?

The police officials believe that the structure was a part of the school’s biological waste. It is alleged that the structure may have been acquired by the school for educational demonstration purposes. However, officials have not yet established whether the structure is actually a human skeleton.

As of now, the cops are attempting to verify the information and are examining the circumstances in which the material was transferred from the school to the scrap dealer.The condition in which the structure was discovered makes it difficult to recognise whether its a original human skeleton or a dummy used for educational purposes.

The police are also verifying the connection between the scrap dealer and the school from which the structure was allegedly obtained. The school administration is being checked as part of the inquiry into the origin of the skeleton-like structure.The inquiry is focused on establishing its nature and tracing how it came to be among the scrap material in Central Delhi.

Separate Case

In a separate case, a human skeleton was found in bushes in a mango orchard opposite Centra Mall in Chandigarh last month, prompting the police and forensic teams to launch a probe. The skeleton was spotted by sanitation workers while they were carrying out cleaning work in the area. The workers reported it to the cops, following which a team from the Industrial Area police station, along with forensic experts, reached the spot. The forensic team collected evidence and videographed the scene before the skeleton was taken into custody for examination.
