Panchkula School Assault: In a harrowing incident, a kindergarten student was brutally assaulted by a class 3 student at Sanskriti Model School in Haryana’s Panchkula. Following the attack, the girl was taken to a nearby hospital and was then shifted to the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) Hospital in Chandigarh.
It is alleged that the girl was first attacked by stones and then banged her head using a flowerpot. The minor was beaten even after losing consciousness.
What Happened Inside The School Premises
According to preliminary information, the accused student first attacked the girl by throwing stones. Then he picked up a heavy pot lying nearby and attacked the girl. The student hit the girl on the head and body with this pot. The girl immediately fell to the ground due to the serious injuries inflicted by the pot.
Hit By Bricks, Dragged By Hair
The girl then became unconscious on the spot. Despite this, the attack did not end. He continued to drag the girl along the ground for a long distance, even in her unconscious state. He hit the girl's head and face 12 times with a brick. The class 3 student then grabbed the girl's hair. He pushed the girl hard onto the bench next to her. Even after that, he kept pulling the girl's hair.

He pushed the girl to the ground. The student kept kicking the girl in the face multiple times. After this incident, the bleeding girl was shifted to Sector-6 Civil Hospital. The doctors on duty there provided first aid. Considering the delicate condition of the girl, she was later referred to PGI Chandigarh. The girl is currently undergoing treatment at PGI.
Investigations Underway
Upon receiving information, the Sector-20 police reached the school. The police officials inspected the scene of the incident on the school premises in detail. The police have asked for CCTV footage of the incident from the school administrators. Additionally, the cops have also asked for information related to the entire security system from the school administration.
